Objective:
The objective of the application is to
develop a system to automate the activities of a real estate organization. The
purpose is to design a system that enables real estate agents and customers to
conduct their businesses and to process the data.
Existing
system:
The present system is maintained
manually with all information recorded in ledgers and files. It is often
difficult to process the information and to retrieve the data effectively.
Often the data is mismanaged and this leads to data losses. It is difficult to
generate the reports.
Proposed
system:
The proposed system maintains a
centralized repository of entire information and can be accessed by all
authorized people. The system stores details of all customers and properties.
This helps to analyze the information and retrieve the necessary information.
The system enables a user to generate various reports.
Modules:
The application comprises the
following major modules.
Administrator module:
This
module provides administrator related functionalities. Administrator manages
property details, agent details and customer details. Administrator also
generates all the required reports. Administrator deals with the advertisements
put up by the customer. Administrator decides the validity and cost of
advertisements.
Agent module:
Agents act as a liaison between
customers and real estate agency. Agents communicate with prospective customers
and deals with them directly.
Customer module:
Customers must be registered with the
system to access the services. Customer may either purchase or sell their
properties. The system allows customers to advertise their properties.
Customers can view the property details and communicate with both agent and
administrator.
